The worst agent and insurance company ever

I have been with statefarm under Maxwell James since 2006. I recently used my homeowners policy, which I never used until 2014 they paid out no money. Had a frozen pipe burst in my basement again nothing paid out. I had a fire in my house in 2015 while out my house someone broke into my shed and I had to file a separate claim and they paid out a little over 2000. Statefarm cancel my policy stating that I had three claims when they only paid out for 1 claim. Tried on several attempt to contact the agency and have not received a call from no one.

Claims review

State Farm has some great agents for sure, but when it comes to fixing your vehicle beware. All the care about is the bottom line not customer satisfaction . Recently I put my rv in for repair after a bad hit on some railroad tracks. The repair is still on going and they won't even cover the items damaged. I have called there team of claims experts and they are a lost bunch. Every time I called they had trouble just finding my claim. They fight you tooth and nail for every penny on the repair , but are happy to take your monthly payments to them without hesitation. I have been a faithful customer for over 30 years and I sad to say today after talking to Paul the claims manager on my case I'm done with this company that has no loyalty to a long time customer. All I can say in closing is life has changed in so many ways , and the days of good customer service are gone with this company. I do not see a bright future for State Farm at all. I pray someone high up takes notice and makes some serious adjustments to this failing company which once was an awesome company. Respectfully, Don Miller A former customer soon to be.

Policy satisfaction

State farm is sorry!!!! After 2 towing which I had to wait over 5 hours each time I am now being told i won't be renewed!!! No tickets, No accidents, No claims paid!!! After taking my premium for a full year now I won't be renewed.i I thought state farm was better than that.Warning to all. Ask, ask, ask questions again and again about their policy, not your policy!!!

BAD CUSTOMER SERVICE/ RIP OFF

So I call to get a quote and my quote started off at a 100 and something then when I decided to get the coverage it we to 200 and something. I decided I was going to make changes or cancel. I was told I couldn't cancel it over the phone. I had to come in the office to cancel it. Just moving here I didn't know my way around and telling them this. I said ok I'll keep it. I said let's drop the full and let's do liability. May I remind you I already paid them 200 and something dollars. I was told I couldn't make changes because it's under review. Then I was told since you waited so long to make changes the month of having the coverage. It's going to be 126, but my new coverage is 130, but when I spoke with the other girl it was a 100. Now it's 126 so basically I paid 200 that they took out of my account without seeing me, nor did I have to come-in to the office for my paper to sit on her desk. Celiann Ojeda de Young Is the worst agent ever. I should have listened to everyone else statefarm is a ripoff. DO NOT GO WITH THIS Insurance company.

Auto Insurance

When I first started with State Farm I was paying $160 then it went to $180 then it jumped to $240. I never been in a wreck or received any tickets and here i was paying almost double than what I started with. I decided to call and get answers and the lady who was told could "help" me was "not available" and I was told she would get in contact with me. No one called me for a week so I decided to call and cancel my policy and didn't even receive half of what I payed the previous month and was told all types of lies. I was only told the reason why I was paying more was because their policy prices changed and I asked do they always change and she said well this time they did and I asked what about the time before that and she had no answer. I'm sure there are other companies out there who are better and honestly I would rather pay more and get my money's worth than "get what I pay for."

Treated like Family

From the very moment, my first policy was started, I was made to feel like a member of the family. The office staff not only knew my name but the names of my children as well. Customer service was absolutely superb, no matter what the need from changing a vehicle on the policy to adding life insurance to explaining a bill breakdown. When it came to filing a claim they walked me through the entire process step by step, made sure a loaner car was ready and available and helped to ensure that I was 100% happy with the repair prior to finalizing the process. The only issue that I have had with my agent or his staff happened when they became retirement age and no longer worked every day as they were missed like a member of the family would be missed. They trained their replacements very well and the service remained as simple and easy as it had been previously with new faces sitting at their desks. Price rating is only a four star as the cost of insurance across the board has become higher than the average person could ever recoup via a claim at the State Farm office and all other agencies across the entire state. Be warned, however, that in Kansas anything less than full coverage is not going to be a benefit with the recent law changes regardless of fault.

State Farm Creates Loyal Customers

I have been a loyal State Farm customer for over 12 years. I joined their company as a client when I first started driving and have never found a better rate or customer service since. I have received quotes for auto insurance from many other companies and not one of them compare to the rate that State Farm continues to give me. Also, my agent knows my name and if I need anything, they are one phone call or email away from helping me immediately. It is comforting to know that if anything did happen, I have a relationship with a company who will have my back. I would recommend State Farm to any one for their insurance needs!

Absolutely Recommended!

I’ve been using State Farm Auto Insurance since I was a teenager, and I was able to get a pretty good price since my parents were already clients. They have lots of different options for plans and discounts, depending on your circumstances. For instance, I was able to take advantage of the Good Student Discount for many years since I had good grades. They also give discounts if you go a certain number of years without accidents, if you have multiple cars, or if you are a student who just finished a driver’s ed course. They are also great to have for when accidents do happen. My mother was in a minor accident with another driver a few years ago, and the State Farm representative was great to work with. He was clear, available, and very professional. The other driver’s representative, not from State Farm and will remain unnamed, kept trying to avoid any conversation about the claim and was never reachable by phone. State Farm may not have the cheapest policies, especially for a young driver who does is not grandfathered into their system, but there are ways to get their great service while taking advantage of the discounts they offer. Their plans and customer service are far worth the extra paid, compared to other insurers.

Took my claim seriously, paid me before they

Once, my car was involved in a hit-and-run accident even though it was sitting in my apartment parking lot. My insurance company took care of fixing the car, but they never gave up on pursuing the person responsible. Every so often, they sent me a check as the other party made payments, until my deductible was paid. I continued to receive payments until the entire $500 deductible was reimbursed. Other companies give up and assume they won’t collect, my car insurance provider took it seriously about collecting, and I got paid before they did.

Not Sure It's Worth Your Money

I recently attempted to sign up for Health Insurance because I have not been to the doctor in four years, when I was 18. When I called their number, I was only given a computerized machine and not an actual customer representative. I tried again and got put on hold for 35 minutes, just for the Customer Service Representative to be rude to me. I tried to be polite but they must be having a bad day because the voice sounded laced with sarcasm. I decided to get a different health insurance, and I am now happy with the one I have. I know that my experience may have been coincidental but would like to advise to be careful with your Health Insurance and to choose wisely.
