Unethical

I love the rate i was given, but I wasnt informed that they stopped insuring me or that my payments weren’t going through. I spoke with Russ, my agent and he said that my bank rejected the payments. I work at my bank so I was able to check on if anything was rejected. Nothing on my bank side indicated that they tried pulling. I had more than enough funds to cover a $60 Monthly payment. The reason I noticed they stopped pulling from my account was because my friend, who also has state farm, was pulled over and I was in the car with her and you it gets scary when cops pull you over for a tail light or dumb reason. The cop said that it showed her car was uninsured. She said no she pays it every month. She checked her account and noticed they have pulled since last year and got scared. The cop contacted her agent and the agent says yes shes insured it was glitch in the system. I checked my account cause I was bragging about how I check my finances and apparently I missed them not pulling out. After speaking with Russ I said I just wanted to pay and set it up again. He took my payment and said I could stop by any statefarm location and pick up an insurance card. Marnee on 24th street in ogden UT was assisting me, but was kind of rude. She said I needed to stop by my agents office to grab a card I told her I could not find their location and she was irritated and said she would request for them to send her the documents after they filled it out and have me sign it. My agent told Marnee it would take a few mins, I told marnee i needed to get to work and if i could sign it later. She got irritated that i didnt want to wait and pulled out a blank document and said “just sign and ill fill it out when the document gets here.” I looked at her and asked her to fill it out so i can see what im signing. She then said she cant fill it out until the documents get here. I told her when i can see what im signing let me know and ill be back. Please inform your reps to not forge or make changes on a document after its been signed its against the law and its unethical. Thank you.

Auto accident

Very displeased. My parked business car was totaled in the parking lot by one of their clients. Took them a week to get me a rental. They valued my car as too little. After I drilled them about the week that I was not provided with a vehicle they offered me one hundred and ten dollars, which is extremely too low. when I am told to return the rental car my check will not even be here. So yes the company is dishonest and does not take responsibility for the claims. They seem to do the least possible and in the slowest way. Not a fan. I will never get State Farm.

LIARS

I switched to state farm and instantly my rate went up $150 dollars, I was told it would go down it has only gone up! I took off renters insurance when I bought a house and my insurance went up instead of down! I added a 3rd car on was told the next month my bill would be an additional $92 dollars for the car and each month after, two bills later I was charged tipple for the car because their billing department made a mistake and my agent wouldn't even call me back and talk to me about it because he knew I was mad due to it overdrawing my account with the auto payment. I have had nothing but increases in my bill and all I am told is rates went up !! I even tried to call the State Farm customer service line and 4 different times after I selected what I wanted it said my call can't be completed so there customer service line doesn't even work! I can't wait to switch insurance company's doing some shopping for sure !

Awesome customer service

Ashley Haberland was wonderful in helping me start my new car insurance with State Farm. She was so patient and thorough. I’ve never felt so cared for by an insurance agent before. She made it quick and easy. She even worked crazy hours to fit in with my crazy hours. I wasn’t expecting that at all and that’s what made me switch from my old insurance to State Farm. She’s a gem.

It's the black guys fault

I had a accident 12/9/17 where one of their insured drivers cut me off trying to get around another car in front of him traveling in the left lane. With me in the right Steven Thompson merged into my lane with out any warning or use of turn signal causing me to rear end him. Once the collision occurred this DICKHEAD tried feeling the seen without stopping, causeing me to race to catch up to him before he pulled over . Once paramedic and police arrive no report was made and my cry of him fleeing the seen even to police went unheard.. (Maybe in part to me being a blackman and would explain why the police had so much side bar conversation to Thompson whos clearly a white) And after filing the claim had to call State Farm to follow up only to be told that their driver was not at fault ND stated that he never merged into my lane.. I hve thousands of dollars in damage to my truck because STATE FARM HONORS THIEVES and LIARS which apparently Steve Thompson who refuse to accept responsibility for their actions, as long as their not paying for some bodies property damage.. So as I mentioned before KARMAS A BITCH AND I hope urs come with HEART FAILURE U MOTHERFUKKER.. And those ratings are bullshyt.. And the only resonance you fukushima are getting a rating is cause it won't let u proceed without it...

Terrible Insurer

Someone on State Farm Insurance decided to hit the back of my car after they rode my ass on and off and then decided not to slow down at a red light that i was stopped at. They rearended me and State Farm has been playing games half a month almost it happend Dec. 2nd and it is now Dec. 18th. They say they talked to the guy then said they didn’t then we talked to them end of last week and they say they would call us the 16th and no call was received. Why? Because they were closed Saturdays. They then say they can’t get a hold of the guy for his statement but i thought they said they talked to them then they say they didn’t. Which is it? I have damage to my vehicle and am very p**sed about the service. My dad and i have both called and they just keep playing games. @State Farm your an Insurance company theirs damage to my car and they are under your policy. Do something this is ridiculous.

they not pay

terrible experience, my furnace was down with no repair option and i got 3 diagnostics about, i replace it after file a claim, sent pictures, etc; then they sent me a check for 200 usd for the repair because they said it could be repair and they did not care about 3 diagnostics at the end and a risk for fire

Do your research when looking for car insuran

Had to file a claim because my landlord backed into my car while it was parked in my driveway. Everyone I talked to was very nice. Called the claims adjuster a few days before I brought my car to the body shop to make sure the rental car was set to go. I was told over and over again that there was a reservation set up and ready to go whenever I needed to pick it up. Dropped my car off and walked over to the rental building only to be told that there was no reservation set up for me. I was stranded for almost 2 hours before I was able to get a ride for me and my 8 month old daughter. I am absolutely disgusted with how they lied to me. I'm definitely going to be looking into different insurance companies.
