The worst ever company because they don't tru

They don't trust you first they give you a device to conect it to your car so they can check your milage travel, hard breaks which is so dump because each break will be counted against you neglecting the bad drivers on the road, each day the ask you for information you already submitted. And more

Progressive's service quality doesn't match i

I stayed with Progressive for over seven years. The only time I had to use my insurance was when I had a minor collision with a concrete road divider when the box in the passenger seat fell on me. The total cost to fix the damage was only about $1,500. The body shop Progressive assigned me to did a half-ass job and forgot to part a part back on my car after the repair. When I followed up with them about that, they just completely ignored me for couple months after multiple follow-ups. It was busy season for me at work during those couple months. So when I finally had the chance to call Progressive again, I had to reach out to their senior management level to get the issue resolved. Rest assured, I dumped Progressive and went with another company. I do NOT recommend Progressive at all.

Terrible company

They charged me $100 to start a policy. I canceled before my policy even began, and they send me a bill in the mail to cancel the policy that I never used.

Out to get your money -- Don't go with Progre

On the heels of getting the "DIAMOND" status reward from Progressive for being a loyal 5-year customer, my monthly premium increased from $429 to $613 for the period starting Feb '17. Over $100 of that increase was attributed to Progressive's "soft" pull of my credit report. They penalized me with this increased based on a home-refinance in Aug 2015, a car purchase in Dec '15, and credit card activation in 2016. They're response was that I should continue paying the increase until 2018 when they pull my credit again to review what I did with credit over the last 24 months. Total BS. I'm done with Progressive!

Rip off

Rip off artist started a policy didn't stick with the policy stopped my payments they turned around and charged me $650.00 for insurance coverage I didn't have was canceled after payment was not received now in credit bureau will be seeing them in court waiting on attorney to set the date

Worst insurance ever

I give them a rating of 0. They are very deceitful! The doubled the price of my first payment on the last page (from $90 to $180) as I was signing up. It was because I live in Michigan, not from anything I've done. They knew I lived in Michigan from the first page I filled out. I cancelled within an hour and received an email saying nothing was due, then received an email in the middle of the night saying they were keeping $45. I called customer service and was told they would transfer the problem to Billing and I wouldn't get any kind of refund for 10 days! I will never sign up with them again!!!! The policy was never going to start until the 31st anyways.

Accident

I hit black ice on December 26th 2016 and slid off the road into a fence. After I made my claim progressive was a lifesaver to me. They picked my car up, updated me on progress and the car was finished a week before what they had told me it would be! I always tell people it's worth it to pay a little extra for progressive because the customer service is just amazing. When you're in an accident and have to figure out rides and getting to work and doing things in your normal life it's nice to have an insurance company take care of the situation. No other insurance does that, thank you so much progressive for taking that weight off my shoulders! Best insurance company out there!

Low balled

This is the worst company I have ever had to file a claim on. They used comps to get a fair market value for a total loss that were 72 miles away just to use a lower price to value the car at when there were cars less than 15 miles away that could have been used. They bad mouthed the dealership and stated they inflated the price of the car just to sell it. The dealership sold us a car that never broke down and was way nicer than other dealerships. I pay 250 dollars more with progressive than another company so I though with full coveradge on 3 cars I would at least get a fair price for my car. I would not use this company at all and if you are currently a customer start looking now.

Be careful of Good Sam's insurance underwrite

Be very careful when accruing RV Insurance from Progressive or Good Sam's insurance (Progressive underwrites them). Several years ago I had a 23 foot trailer that we stored in the winter. During the winter high winds forced a vent to open and filled my trailer with water and snow. This caused over 6,000 damage (determined by a progressive adjuster. Progressive refused to make the repairs to a trailer that cost 27,000 dollars and was two years old. I will NEVER trust this company again with my RV, auto, home ore anything else I own. I ended up selling my trailer for 4,000 dollars and took a major loss. It is clearly their focus to find reasons NOT to cover claims. One more thing. We were up to date on our payments to them and had never claimed anything on our RV prior to this incident.

Poor insurance company

Had wind damage from a bad storm that came thur Sumter county on the 22nd my roof leaks and is loose from the walls they denied my claim they tell me my Rv is 25 years old the storm didn't cause the damage so I guess the 60-70 mph winds don't do damage to older rvs .so be wear when getting progressive for your rv
