I hate Progressive!!!!

This past June my daughter was involved in a traffic accident. The other driver ran a red light and their vehicles collided totaling her car. The other driver was cited and found at fault by law enforcement but thank God he had insurance through Progressive. I filed my flame through them and stupid me thought it would be over soon. The Progressive investigator spoke to a clerk within a gas station at the intersection of the crash and this clerk stated that, it was hard to see but my daughter could have been speeding, "COULD HAVE"!!!!!! Now I want you to understand that my daughter had just pulled out of a parking lot and the light was red as she approached it. Because of this Progressive denied our clam and told me that if I wasn't happy I would have to sue them. I did and I won with no trouble at all but it took almost six months. This company has an on going practice of re-victimizing the victim with no basis at all.

Worst company

My fiancé ( now husband ) got in a couple accidents before our wedding . When the accidents first happened he did exactly what he was supposed to do . He called and told them what happened . The next couple days we received multiple (more than 3) phone calls about the accident. He wasn't sure why they kept calling and asking about it . He had already told him it was his fault . The phone calls finally stopped, then two months after the accident he received another phone call asking about the SAME accident. The person who called was rude he started off by starting the conversation by " Let's talk about that accident " . Husband confused saying "what accident ." He then stated "the one a couple months ago." Why are you guys calling multiple times and why are you contacting us months past the accident . When we gave you all the information you needed . It was a simple bumper to bumper crash , that was his fault . Hence the reason why we have liability insurance Long story short : We received a letter saying that we did not corroborate with them . When we had . Then we decided to call them and asking him why they weren't covering him when he did what they asked . They said the reason why they weren't covering is because he was working when it happened . Can you guys make up your mind ? You guys harassed my husband with multiple phone calls just to tell him you're not gonna cover the other car involved in the accident? We have liability insurance for a reason . Why are we paying for liability insurance if we have to pay for the other car in the long run .? Why pay an outrageous amount for nothing ? Poor customer service - was not willing to work with us and does not listen to what happened . They insisted it was more than what we said it was .

NEVER AGAIN!!!!!

I paid for a year on my Honda 3 months in they want 300 dollars more then trade the Honda in on a harley they want another 300 dollars so I said just cancel it now they send it to collection saying I owe 100 dollars more so you couldn't pay me to ever have progessive insurance ever again 😠😠😠😠 TELL YOUR FRIENDS TO GO ANYWHERE ELSE I'd pay a ticket for no insurance before I ever have progessive again

Progressive not very helpful to it's customer

I was involved on an accident, the other party was exiting Rt 1, I was hit on the right back tire and bumper. Progressive did not do a good job presenting my case, I did not got my deductible back, and was found 50% at fault. SERIOUSLY!!! I got hit on the back tire and bumper, he was exiting Rt 1. I was already on the intersection. OMG I am so dumping Progressive at renewal or sooner.

Service

Chris is the manager on the claims dept. Worse service ever. Treats you as if youve done wrong. Hes worse than the police. Even they helped. I never paid for service and they were against me so i cant wait to switch.

Thieves

I agreed to support a car policy for a brother a couple of years back. Then we had a falling out and I called Progressive to cancel my commitment while the premium was up to date. They allowed the policy to be reinstated wothout my consent and sent a new bill which I sent back.. They have since opened another policy for the same brother, on the same car but sent the unpaid amount of $118 on the old policy to a collection agency in my name. I called them to explain but they are not cooperative.

Horrible Customer Service

Started progressive in October they sent me a cancellation letter in November for underwriting. They never took my payment out November or December even though I had auto payments set up...cancelled me on December 30th and sent me an email that I still owed $423 so I called to see why. Apparently they cancelled my auto pay and never told me and now expect me to pay 423 even though I was never notified. Not to mention the lady I talked to was beyond rude, she kept asking how I never noticed and I should have paid more attention to my bank account and what did I expect I still owe for 2 months of used insurance and maybe I should pay more attention to detail. Sorry that should be Progressives job to notify me about any changes YOU have made on my account, its called customer service and progressive really needs to work on theirs. Ive had way better service with geico, state farm and infinity.

Snap-Shot, ANY AND ALL DISCOUNTS, ARE NOT DIS

TRULY ! If I could leave the Stars empty, that still is not a rating I would give Progressive. We were in a needed to move Insurance providers, ASAP. When I reached out for a quote, they originally were the lowest for ( the amount of time) I had to switch. I was also informed of the Snap-shot device, with potential of Premium coming down expedentially , during, and at renewal. Keeping in mind, I am paying $782.43 MONTHLY, for family of 4 cars, not all full coverage. All I had to do, was provide kids grades, combine our homeowners Insurance, and Auto, Install Snap-shot, paperless billing, EFT payments, ALL OF WHICH I DID! Plus I was told, on at fault accident was to fall off in January, so complete all this required, get a good rating with Snap-shot, and I would pay closer to 300/350.00 per month; in other words, the Premium would be half. I just spoke to Progressive, and they now claim; MY INSURANCE RATES HAVE INCREASED at renewal, in 6 days. They want to now charge me $4810.00 for 6 months. When I called for an explanation, I was informed that I was not only getting those discounts I listed, but I was also receiving discounts for , Minor child driver, and , Multi-vehicle dsicounts. Okay, if your following me, My Insurance rates in my area when up so much, that it literally is so High, that all those discounts, with also knowing that a miniumum of $180.00 / per month was to be deducted from premium payments; and I now am told my payment is $802.43 per month? NO PROGRESSIVE! THAT'S NOT OKAY TO OVER BILL, AND FALSE ADVERTISEMENT. WITH ALL THESE CONCERNS, YOU WOULD THINK THAT THE INSURANCE COMMISSIONER WOULD BE HELPFUL!! There has to be somwthing illegal being done here? I now understand why most people don't have Insurance if there is no cap on charging the Insurerd.

Fraudulent!

The price and coverage of my actual policy, compared to the quote I received was radically different. I'm paying much more (about 33% higher than my quoted price), and receiving less coverage than what I was quoted. I am very unhappy with Progressive's dishonest and fraudulent practices.

Worst worst when i say worst worst and a bunc

If only i could find many more folks and rally so we could protest against those insurance thieves that would be a fresh breath of air for customers buying policies from those thieves. I wish i could never use them.progressive specially is the worst when reimbursing. They played all kind of tricks to give you back what is yours. Please do not buy anything from them becareful.they are a bunch of thieves. Worst customers service ever
