Worst experience

Worst experience ever with progressive.. our black tank flooded in our trailer and we have been calling and trying to finish the claim for almost 3 months.. Joe a guy who came to look at our trailer told us over the phone that there are no signs of flooding. So he basically said we are lying! I think we know what we had to clean up! We are meticulous people and therefore cleaned it up the best we could ripping up our carpet and all.. under the carpet is linoleum but for some reason the is a big cut out in it and gaps between sections and joe proceeded to tell us we cut the linoleum. Which we absolutely did not! I am appauled that progressive treats customers like this and calls their customers liars! Do not get progressive ins.!

This company does not put their customers first they are only out for making money. They don't want to be responsible when a claim is filed they justblike passing the buck on someone else. Refuse to do anything to help. Worse company

Worse insurance co

This is a bad company to get insurance from they give an insurance card to someone and when the person is involved in an accident the company claims that they don't have insurance just to not pay the claim. Why give a person an ID card stating that they have insurance and then deny the claim saying that the policy was not in effect at the time of the accident. Bad company and customer service

disloyal company

Do not use progressive for your insurance needs! Very bad company to do business with they cancelled my policy while traveling overseas just cuz they couldn't get a hold of me but they were still collecting their payment every single month. They left my family out there driving with no insurance for two months this is a company with no family values no honor whatsoever very disloyal and i was with them for 5 years paying on time every time!!!!!

Stay away - Does not have your best interest

Our new car recently got rear-ended and is now totaled. Progressive is coming back with a value for our car that’s $3,000 below what Kelly Blue book recommend as the retail value of our car. They have their own system of calculating the value of the car. The way that they do this is by pulling 4 listed retail value of the car and then subtracted milage and a “projected sold adjustment” amount (haggle amount from negotiation to deduct, not sure how they come up with this value) from the listed retail value. The four car that they provided, one was high, one was middle, and two was way below value. When I try to call the dealerships to confirm these car, three out of the four were not in their inventory and if they were, they were sold long before our accident. I’m not sure how to handle this right now, we need a new car but I hate to give in and let them cheat us. This has been a terrible experience. We expect to negotiate with the other driver insurance for a fair price on our car because he was at fault. I did not think I would have to deal with my own insurance company that’s supposed to have our best interest. We are definitely never going to use progress again for our house or car. If anything should happen to our house, I have already got a taste of how they will treat us.

Easy online auto insurance

I have been insured by Progressive for over 3 years. My favorite feature is that I can get car insurance online quickly and easily. I can smoothly navigate through Progressive's website and find the information I need, which is why I gave a 5-star rating to "customer service." I gave a 3-star rating to "price" because monthly payments turn out to be more expensive than if I were to pay for the policy one time only. They also charge a processing fee for paying with a credit card. While it's only a few extra dollars per month, I feel like these charges are unnecessary. However, because I have the ability to change my plan at any time at the touch of a button, I am willing to pay a few extra dollars per month. Progressive is easy to use and understand, and I will continue to be insured by them.

For Over 20 Years Progressive Has Worked For

Progressive is one of the nation’s biggest auto insurers. They are innovative and up to speed with the latest technology. They were one of the first major insurance companies to go digital, making it super easy to make changes to my policy or file a claim. As a customer for almost 20 years, I have never had any problems with them when it came to processing my claims. After my accident they allowed me to repair my auto at the repair shop of my choosing, and they never hassled me to use one of theirs. No other Insurance company has been able to even come close to the low premiums that I pay. I plan on staying with Progressive for a long time.

Good savings over previous company

I had been fairly satisfied with Geico when I decided to switch to Progressive. My wife and I found out there were discounts for combining our auto insurances, and boy was there. It ended up being less in total than each of our individual policies. I’m not sure how that works, but hey, I’ll take it. The only concern I have is sometimes it takes a while for a knowledgeable representative to get on the phone with me when I can. But, I suppose that’s a small price to pay.

Company actually cared

I appreciate an auto insurance company that truly cares about its customers. One time, I was rear-ended in a collision and I only had liability coverage. While my insurance company wasn’t responsible for the repairs to my car, they worked with me and guided me in the process. I had to be the one to talk to the other provider, but I could always turn to them for advice. They never made me feel like I was all alone in the situation even though they didn’t have to help me.

Great customer loyalty program! Awesome rates

I’ve been using Progressive for over a year. I liked the fact that I was able to get several quote options from them for other companies so I can compare. I previously had Geico, but the rates kept going up for no reason. So after doing research, my switching to Progressive was a beneficial move. This last renewal I received discounts for customer loyalty- so I saved even more money. The customer service people are friendly and knowledgeable. I’m happy with them so far, and plan to stay.
